Golden Mountain, The Ring Mark

The Ring Mark
A cult seasoning sauce hidden behind a pharmacy-style label. We designed it for the stovetop.
A utilitarian bottle with a label wrapped over the whole glass: the look of a corner pharmacy. Meanwhile the product itself, a beautiful amber sauce, stays hidden behind paper crowded with text.
"The Ring Mark": Golden Mountain lives next to the stove. Its loyalty comes from daily use. Rather than the "minimal label, let the product speak" reflex every craft condiment now follows, the concept embraces the ring a well-used bottle leaves behind and turns that trace of real use into the design motif.
Amber, night glass and a warm label cream, lifted by a gold cap and a red seal carrying 金山 (Jīn Shān, the Gold Mountain). Yeseva One for the wordmark, Karla for the text. Signature: the ring mark, a soft amber ellipse that is never crisp or cartoonish. Baseline: "Proof that it gets used."
The label never changes colour. The liquid does: amber for Original, deep red for Chilli, pale gold for Honey. Clear glass shows it off, and three bottles side by side read as one range at a glance.
The hero image is anti-packshot: the bottle on a real stove, among splashes: the opposite of a product that has never been touched, and the clearest expression of the idea.
